a bit of byzantium

the beautiful byzantine look to these pictures are lush and ornate and at times evocative of klimt's gilded textures.  kilims and oriental rugs are eternal classics and make for an interesting and intricate backdrop (in the absence of an appropriate location). the only detractor is the use of the white boxes as props in the full length image. this is a serious lack of attention to detail, the lighting is also amiss in that last image. the make up is notable, particularly the 5th image.
